About Silver

Silver is a relatively soft, shiny metal.  Silver’s history is long. The first evidence of silver mining dates back to 3000 B.C., in Turkey and Greece, according to the RSC. The silver does not react to the air. But the base metals such as lead and copper oxidize and separate from the precious metal.  Silver is a soft, ductile, malleable, lustrous metal.  It has the highest electrical and thermal conductivity of all metals. Silver is stable in oxygen and water. However it tarnishes when expose to sulfur compounds in air or water to form a black sulfide layer.

About Bangles

Bangles are traditionally rigid bracelets, originating from the Indian subcontinent, which are usually made of metals and nowadays plastic. They are traditional ornaments that most women wear in Southern Asia. Women keep atleast one bangle to the arm until they wear another set of bangles. They believe empty arm brings bad luck. There is also a scientific reason for wearing bangles. It is that, the Bangles that women wear  are normally in the wrist part of ones hand and its constant friction increases the blood circulation level.
