About Anthopogon Oil :
Anthopogon oil is extracted from the steam distillation of leaves and aerial twigs of Rhododendron anthopogon. Anthopogon is in distribution throughout Nepal within the altitude range of 3000-5000m. It appears as a dense mat of shrubberies in open alpine slopes. It is a low aromatic gregarious shrub often attaining a height of 50-60 cm. Leaves small, oval to obovate, dark grayish-green above, densely brown scaly beneath, with oil glands. Flowers are creamy pale to white. Flowering occurs in May-July and fruiting in August-September. It is also known as Sunpati in Nepali.
Major Constituents:
a-pinene, B-pinene and limonene
Tharapeutic Use:
Apply topically for gout, rheumatism, cold, flu,cinfections, anxiety, nervous tension, stress related conditions, relaxation and to balance mood
Direction For Use:
Apply 1-2 drops to desired area. Diluted with carrier oil to minimize any skin sensitivity. Use 3-4 drops in the diffuser.
Cautions:
Possible skin sensitivity, Keep out of reach of children. Pregnant should not use. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears and sensitive areas.
