Pashmina is a fine type of cashmere wool.  They are the finest, elegant and delicate fabric made from fine cashmere fiber. Moreover, this fabric is quite similar to cashmere. However one distinct difference between it and generic cashmere is the fiber diameter. Pashmina fibres are finer and thinner (12–15 microns) than generic cashmere fiber (15–19 microns) and therefore ideal for making lightweight apparel like fine scarves. Nepal and Kashmir are the places where we can find the products of this fabrics.

The Pashminas product are very soft and warm. It is warmer tha the sheep wool products. These are one of the best wool materials that are supposedly available. Originally, pashmina, coming from the word ‘pashm’ is a type of silken hair found in the undercoat of Tibetan goats.
